he dates stated are the deadlines. I've categorized them according to the prizes that are already available, as I know most (not all) of you look at contests this way. Keep in mind that these dates and prizes are all temporary. Deadlines may be extended by contest hosts and additions to prizes are often made by generous deviants, so updates to this blog may be made monthly or in every two weeks or daily (would depend on my mood). Every contest deserves to be read in the original so please check them out.
Mind you, most (if not all) of those featured here are contests that involve drawings and the like. You can also find them on my favorites folders one and two
Friendship/Courtship/Hatred/Love ContestIt is not about winning or prizes, but about challenging yourself to create more Saiunkoku Monogatari fanworks, for all of us to enjoy! And for everyone to have fun in the process!
(A) Theme : Friendship/ Courtship/ Hatred/ Love
Show any Saiunkoku Monogatari character(s) expressing any kind of emotion, such as love, hate, jealousy, envy, joy, sorrow, etc. (It does not even have to be emotion towards another human … it can be towards an inanimate object, like Shurei's love of money! :evillaugh:); or show the  characters in a relationship, such as friendship, courtship, kinship (brother-brother, brother-sister, father-daughter, etc.), rivals, mentor-disciple, master-servant, boss-subordinate, courtesan-client, and anything else you can think of!  
Side-Note for those interested: This theme is inspired by a childhood game we used to play.

♠ You must draw the two girls, can be 1 OC per entry, or 2 OCs in one entry. The point is that you have to draw the 2 girls.

Contest, the true journalLots of places are covered with snow. It's freezing outside... or at least very cold. Not even close to spring, as most would say. Though when we look further, we know the time will come that the cold winters will end and the beauty of spring will let the flowers sprout. It's only a matter of time before it will be spring. A matter of, to be exact, 2 months.
But what has this to do with this journal? After all the heading said 'contest', though up untill this point, this is all just a very cheesy anecdote. But it is an anecdote to introduce you to the contest. Since the contest will be all about spring. It revolves around spring. Spring means that the climate will change. It is the time we say goodbye to scarves, bury them away in our closet to not being seen again until late autumn.
