"This piece is depressing, but completely and perfectly describes the despair and hopelessness people feel sometimes. When you feel so tired, and so useless, you just can't describe it, but this artist has nailed it down completely. The verses are very sweet yet sad, and it's like a surrender. I just love how easily this artist writes all these emotions."

"I love the atmosphere of this poem. The voice is really strong. The theme is great. I absolutely love the lines, "Just the way you want" and "Everything I do is wrong." It is a creative, strong, well written poem and very beautiful."

Message's of the Resistance... Contest entryLiving in the streets healthy and unhappy.
We live underground, and safe on rooftops.
Where made from broken parts, the weak to the strong.
The young to the old, rich to the poor. Leaders to followers,
All have a purpose, stealing to stay alive, losing everything but the dreams we need.
Hopes to find, fighting when we have to value the life to live.
We've lost our homes for what reasons? In this world has been good and evil.
To the Resistance we are one part of fate, to the young that have hart,
To the old that have wisdom, to the good who have prayed, to the evil that have anger,
To the poor that have skill, to the rich that have will. We've seen children in pain,
Family's that been hidden, we never wanted all this, it didn't have to be this way.
Whispers in the dark to cheers of light, we march to the drums, beating in our harts.
To the believes we have, separate opinions  from whom  we are, we are who we are.
No matter how you hide it, the truth is behind the evil grin we all hold,

Generation GapIn a fragile world accessed through fingertips,
I have it all.
The opportunities that come with glaring at a screen,
connections with strangers through an alternate universe.
A message sent in an instant
what would have taken months through other, dated means.
Oh, what you could have with such things;
To entertain, distract, dwindle precious time.
A slide of a finger, a click of a button.
These luxuries, as you call them,
Accessible any shift of day.
Valued keepsakes and possessions now
You could nevermore dream up;
And you're jealous, a generation delayed.
Not a manner to garner outside news
exempt of flipping through files;
While a typed solitary word brings us all we've come to know.
As I despise my own time,
What you would do
To steer into the future
And relive childhood in the era you belong.
In a lucid world fresh with color and life,
You had it all.
