Very simply, you must create a sculpture for this contest and show its creation history with a minimum of 3 photos or series of video. The photos or video MUST contain an index card or other sign format to display the date, your user ID and "For x-EQ-x's Sculpture Contest". If your entry does not include this in some fashion, it will be disqualified.

Redesign A Character Contest!

If there's something we love about fan art it is how artists take artistic liberties and portray characters in their own style and different scenarios we wouldn't see otherwise. Some people will say that fan art is unoriginal, but from experience there's a lot of creativity involved when it comes to depicting your favorite characters in a different light, deviating from the way they were designed by their creators.

Objective

Pick a character from any fandom you like.

A Definition of "Abstract Art":
A simple, common definition of "abstract art" is "not realistic." Yet many artists who call their work abstract, actually do have a subject in mind when they paint. They take a figure or landscape and simplify it, exaggerate it, or stylize it in some way. They are not trying to imitate nature, but to use nature as a starting off point. Color, line, and form are more important to them than the details of the actual subject matter. They want to give a sense or feel for the subject rather than an exact replication.

Each "Hunt" will have a series of clues leading to the answer. Follow the clues given to successfully acquire the correct answer which will unlock the next Hunt.

You should have either paper and pen or a text file available for taking notes in your quest to unlock the next Hunt. You may use any resource you have at your disposal to locate the answers, except being given them by another dA member.

How to begin:

How to submit entries:

When you have solved the puzzle of the Hunt and you have the answer, seach dA to find the appropriate deviation, navigate to that destination and copy the :"thumb": to it (i.e. : thumb355527465

and post it in a NOTE to me with the subject as "Hunt #1 Answer" (or whatever Hunt it is). If correct, you will be posted here as completing the Hunt, and entered into the prize pool. Do this for each of the Hunts for more chances to win!

There will be a series of Hunts, which will be determined by the response received by the players. Each new Hunt will begin with clicking the NEW Hunt Link below. Expect some of the clues to be rather easy while others may test your deductive abilities.

Everyone who completes the entire game successfully will be awarded 10

I have planted a series of little Easter Bunnies around dA for you to find in the coming weeks leading up to Easter (Sunday, March 31). Each Easter Bunny include a 'CLUE' and a [link] which, when clicked, will take you to the next place in your continued search for the next Easter Bunny.

Each click of a link brings you closer to the Golden Easter Egg. When you find this Golden Easter Egg you will also find a secret phrase. You must paste this secret phrase into a NOTE to me for your chance to WIN! The subject of the note should be "Easter Egg Hunt".

Every person who sends me a NOTE with the secret phrase will be added to the pool, and at the end of the contest a winner will be randomly drawn from that pool. Anyone who is caught sharing the secret phrase with someone will be disqualified.
